  1. I've learned that the black people were discriminated because of their race, and of that they were segregate from the white people. On August 28th, 1963, MLK gave his famous "I HAVE A DREAM!" speech at Lincoln Memorial, telling others not to judge people for their outside appearance but for what they are inside.

  2. In L.A. today i learned that black people were persecuted and sent to jail just for the colour of their skin. I also learnt that MLK was like Gandi, who fought for what they thought was right and managed to chage a nation with his dream.

  3. In class today, what I've learned is that black people are treated differently in a bad way just because of their skin color. MLK was a black man who fought for equal rights, not just for African Americans, but for everyone in the nation. MLK organized marches and demonstrations and speeches. His most important speech is called the "I Have A Dream" speech. Finally, the government made it illegal to discriminate people because of their race. His dream was to get others not to treat people on the outside, but who they really are in the inside.
